Hong Kong industries lobby against labour reform [1]

29 September 2010
William Nee and Geoffrey Crothall discuss how Hong Kong industries have teamed up to lobby against labour reform [2] in Guangdong province. We also mention CLB's actions [3] that helped counter this influence. Finally, we talk about how the government's new policy of forcing coal mine bosses into mine shafts to promote safety doesn't seem to be working all that well [4].  We also mention the massive 100 km traffic jam [5], in which some drivers were stuck for over 10 days.
